Dr. James Kneebone is the current practitioner at the A.M. Longley Health Center, originally founded by Andrew Longley Jr., DO, in 1975. Dr. Kneebone began working with Dr. Longley as a medical student in 1985. After earning his degree from the University of New England, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1989, Dr. Kneebone continued to see patients at the practice while completing a Residency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.

Following the sudden passing of Dr. Longley in 1991, Dr. Kneebone took over the practice. He later became Board Certified in Family Medicine as well as Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Over the past 23 years, the practice has evolved to provide general osteopathic care for patients of all ages, addressing a broad spectrum of health concerns.

In addition to his osteopathic expertise, Dr. Kneebone completed a 300-hour certification program in Medical Acupuncture through Harvard Medical School. He now integrates this ancient healing art into his practice to further support his patients’ well-being. Dr. Kneebone’s primary goal is to help patients move toward optimal health, and he remains dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care.
